This 9-day safari takes you through five of Tanzania’s most popular destinations: Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park. With a mix of game drives, scenic landscapes, and abundant wildlife, this tour is designed to offer you a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Arusha National Park
- Departure: 8:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha.
- Activity: Embark on a thrilling walk with an armed ranger and enjoy a picnic lunch amidst nature. Explore the park’s diverse habitats, from forest to savannah, and catch glimpses of flamingos at the lakes. Arusha National Park, nestled at the base of Mount Meru, is a birdwatcher’s paradise and home to the black-and-white colobus monkey.
- Overnight: Return to your lodge/camp for a delicious dinner and restful night.
Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
- Departure: 8:30 AM from your hotel.
- Activity: A scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game viewing. Encounter large herds of buffalo, giraffes, and impalas. The highlight is the famous tree-climbing lions (if you’re lucky to spot them). The park’s shores are often teeming with flamingos during migration season.
- Overnight: Dinner at your lodge/camp before relaxing for the night.
Day 3: Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti
- Departure: After breakfast.
- Activity: Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Karatu’s farmlands, heading towards the Serengeti’s iconic plains. Arrive in the Seronera area, the Serengeti’s wildlife hub, teeming with lions, leopards, and other species around the Seronera River.
- Overnight: Enjoy dinner at your lodge/camp.
Day 4, 5, & 6: Central Serengeti
- Activity: Choose between two game drive schedules:
- Full-day drives with picnic lunch, or
- Early morning drives followed by a relaxed breakfast and afternoon game drives. Explore the central Serengeti, famous for its large lion prides and incredible game viewing. The Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, where you can witness the interactions and survival of lion prides year-round.
- Overnight: Return to the lodge each evening for a hearty meal and rest.
Day 7: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- Activity: After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in Serengeti. Then, head to Ngorongoro Crater, descending into the world’s largest volcanic caldera, a unique natural wonder. Spot the diverse wildlife, including the “Big Five,” and observe the stunning scenery.
- Overnight: Enjoy a filling dinner and a peaceful night at your chosen accommodation.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Tour (5 hours) to Tarangire
- Activity: Start with an early descent into the crater for a 5-hour game drive. The floor is home to lions, rhinos, elephants, zebras, and an array of bird species. A picnic lunch at the Hippo pool adds to the experience. Afterward, ascend back to the crater rim and travel to Tarangire.
- Overnight: Dinner and rest at your lodge/camp.
Day 9: Tarangire to Arusha
- Activity: Begin your final safari day with a half-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers excellent game viewing opportunities, including lion, leopard, cheetah, and zebra. By mid-afternoon, you’ll head back to Arusha.
- Arrival: Arrive in Arusha around 6:00 PM and enjoy a final farewell with your safari group, leaving with unforgettable memories from your Tanzanian adventure.
