Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- Departure: 8:30 AM from Arusha, with a 2-hour drive (118 km) to Tarangire National Park.
- Activities: Full-day game drive through the park, known for its vast elephant herds, baobab trees, and varied wildlife including lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
- Evening: Check in at your lodge/camp, enjoy dinner, and unwind.
Accommodation: Tarangire (Camp/Lodge)
Day 2 – Tarangire to Ndutu, Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- Morning: Breakfast, followed by a drive toward Ndutu, approximately 3.5 hours (200 km).
- Activities: Game drive in the Ndutu region with a focus on the Great Migration. Witness wildebeests, zebras, and various predators in action.
- Evening: Settle in for dinner and relaxation at your Ndutu accommodation.

Days 3 & 4 – Full Days in Ndutu, Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- Day 3 Options:
- Option 1: Begin with a morning drive at 9:00 AM, or
- Option 2: Early start at 6:00 AM for a sunrise game drive.
- Activities: Follow the migration, capturing sights of calving season, young animals, and predator-prey interactions. Return for evening relaxation.
- Day 4 Options: Similar split for full or early morning/afternoon game drives to maximize sightings.
Accommodation: Ndutu region (Camp/Lodge)
Day 5 – Ndutu to Central Serengeti
- Morning: Breakfast and departure to the Central Serengeti.
- Activities: Game drive through iconic Serengeti plains and granite kopjes. Look out for Big Five species, particularly lions and leopards.
- Evening: Dinner and rest at your Central Serengeti camp/lodge.

Day 6 – Central Serengeti Full Day
- Option 1: 9:00 AM start for a full-day game drive, or
- Option 2: Early morning drive at 6:00 AM with afternoon game drive options.
- Activities: Continue exploring Seronera, the heart of Serengeti wildlife. With a picnic lunch, spot lions, giraffes, and elephants along the river and open plains.
- Evening: Return for dinner and relaxation.
Accommodation: Central Serengeti (Camp/Lodge)
Day 7 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- Morning: Early game drive, breakfast, and drive toward Ngorongoro.
- Activities: Scenic drive with potential sightings along the way. Arrive in the Ngorongoro area to relax before the next day’s crater descent.
- Evening: Dinner at your Ngorongoro lodge.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Lodge)
Day 8 – Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Arusha
- 6:30 AM: Begin an early descent into Ngorongoro Crater.
- Activities: Game drive through the crater, spotting black rhinos, elephants, hippos, lions, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool.
- Afternoon: Ascend from the crater and return to Arusha, concluding by early evening.
